Good morning friends and family,
We wanted to send a quick email out to you to update you on how our family is doing.
After finishing 21 days of IV antibiotics, Nathan was released from the hospital. It is great having him back as my parenting team mate however, it does come with some discouragement. Although he was released, his lung function remains around the mid to lower 50%. This is down about 5-10% from what it has been the past few years. And the progression of the disease is generally that any ground lost is usually never regained.
However, we remain hopeful and full of purpose as we prepare to go to teach in Peru next week. We will be in Minneapolis this week for Nathan’s follow-up appointments then heading to Peru on Friday.
THE NATURE OF THE DISEASE IS THAT GROUND LOST IS GENERALLY NEVER REGAINED. BUT, WE’RE STANDING IN FAITH THAT GOD HAS A PLAN AND THAT GOD IS GOOD…
As we continue to faithfully walk through foreseen and unforeseen circumstances, we would ask that you would partner with us — either through your prayers or your finances.
For more information, check out this video.
As always, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for your continued prayers for our family.
P.S. I would love to hear back from you. If you have any comments from this week’s email or prayer requests you would like to share with us, our email is: firstname.lastname@example.org. I look forward to hearing from you.
